The 993 turbo was introduced in 1996 featuring full time four wheel drive for the first time on a production 911 Turbo. The 3.6-litre engine was fitted a pair of KKK K16 turbochargers and Bosch M5.2 engine management. Output was 408bhp at 5750rpm. Performance was explosive with a top speed of 184mph and 0-60 in just 4.5 seconds. Like all turbocharged 911's, this latest variant received heavily flared wheel arches and a static rear spoiler. Unique to these cars, the body-coloured rear wings were fixed in place and housed the turbocharger intercoolers. For the 1997 model year, Porsche produced the most exclusive road going 993 of all and what became the last air-cooled 911 Turbo – the Turbo S (only approximately 12 were delivered in RHD to the UK). Based on the standard Turbo, the Turbo S was enhanced with a number of special features. Including, the Aerokit II front and rear spoilers, brake cooling ducts alongside the front indicators and engine cooling scoops carved out from the rear fenders. Mechanically, the 3.6-litre twin-turbo flat-six was pumped up to 424bhp making it the firm's most powerful production engine yet.Chassis 370235 was first delivered November 1996. The car is presented in Ocean Blue with Marble Grey leather. Being an interim example between production of the standard turbo and the turbo S this vehicle had the factory fitted turbo S spec 430 BHP upgrade and rear brake cooling ducts fitted in the rear wings subtly setting it apart from the previous turbos.The vehicle is a very low mileage example having covered just 20,000 miles in 13 years. A thorough file accompanies the car including various service receipts and MOT's (dating back to 1999) helping to validate the way in which the car has been cared for and its very low mileage. In November 2007 shortly after being purchased by the current owner the car was entrusted to Paragon for a "993 turbo Full service" at a cost of £2,400 at which point all items requiring attention were addressed at no expense spared.
